What impressed me most was the amount of people that came out of the woodwork and shared their heartfelt stories on the impact that “Virtual Staff Finder” had on their business – I’ve been getting comments, messages and emails non-stop!
Some of these stories I knew about, and others came as a total shock. Discovering that tens of millions of dollars in sales have been made as a result of the teams we helped to create, filled me with so much pride.

As we look to the future, I truly believe that there has never been a better time to hire staff in the Philippines. When I got started, it was just call center staff and then basic customer service roles. But now just about any job that involves working on a computer can be done in-full or in-part by someone in the Philippines.

Why did you choose to sell?
“Virtual Staff Finder” was brilliant for a time, but now it’s clear that people need and want a lot more than just recruitment services. For best results they need their staff to work in an office. Given the fact I am living in the UK, it made sense to partner with a business based on the ground in the Philippines already doing this.
Tell us about the new owners?
I have known Kody Thompson and Dale Beaumont for over a decade now. They were once students of my trainings and books. Then, within a few years, they went on to hire more than 100 staff in the Philippines. In 2019 Kody and Dale established WrkPod, which has become a leader in helping SMBs start and scale teams in the Philippines.
You sold, but you are staying onboard. Please explain?
Yes, “Virtual Staff Finder” has been sold. However, because I’m still deeply passionate about this space and have a lot to offer, I decided to convert my equity into shares of WrkPod. This means I’m now a co-owner and will be working alongside Kody and Dale to further grow the business in the UK and US.
Can I still hire staff through “Virtual Staff Finder”?
My entire team will be moving over to WrkPod, so YES we can absolutely help you find talented staff in the Philippines. Why do you now believe Work from Home isn’t best?
Most people start out by hiring staff in the Philippines that work from home.
