Branding is a term that’s been used in marketing meetings for years, as companies planned and strategized over demographics in corporate boardrooms. However in today’s world, it’s becoming more evident that it isn’t just companies and organizations that should develop their brands.
Personal branding has become a key aspect for entrepreneurs, as modern audiences have grown to want to do business with people instead of businesses. Developing your personal brand, is the easiest way to set yourself apart from everyone else in your niche.
Monetising your personal brand is where you take it to the next level. However, first you’ve got to learn exactly HOW you can profit from your personal brand. Couple that together with a ‘primary profit mentality’ – which allows you to pay yourself first, you’ll be off to the races!
To help entrepreneurs think about profiting properly from their personal brands, I recently broadcasted a great session on Periscope where I broke down the different ways that you can make money online, based on an authentic personal brand – I captured the entire broadcast for the blog, and here’s the first part (part two is coming next week!).
There’s more to being successful business than beating your inbox and understanding what your customer wants (although those are important!). I hope this first video has helped give you an idea of how to make the most out of, and how to profit from your personal brand.
Think of it like your business ‘fingerprint’ – no two personal brands are exactly the same.
